Time to stop this. Once and for all. I never agreed to this, but now I find out some of my friends were into it, so I decided to make something.
Talking to people about the way their time working for “Sofi”, the owner of thehungergamestriology, was. Not just most of them, but all of them told me she’s way too demanding. You’re supposed to post something daily, put a visible watermark of the blog on it and post it directly on the blog. Never reblogging it from your own blog. To make it easier to understand, here are her rules:

Some people told me they didn’t even have time for their own blog anymore. But they didn’t quitted, because they were afraid of her. That was the cherry on the top of the cake.
What you need to understand is this: When she asked me to join her, she told me it were going to be a co-owned blog. She told me how she works professionally for Summit E, making it sound so important, and she even told me she may became an official blog with Lionsgate, and I could possibly get to work for them. I mean, seriously?
The thing is, as you work for her, you don’t get any credit. Of course, she tells you you’ll make it into the “editors list”. And some people isn’t even there. As you can see, it’s incredibly hidden. I had to ask someone for a link to it, because is basically impossible to find it on the blog. It’s a single post with 18 notes, and even some of them are people complaining, accusing her of telling lies. Is this credit enough for the editors? No. It isn’t. But that’s just a part of the problem.
In the left side of the blog, you can see some Hunger Games-related publicity. How nice of her to make it easy for you to get this stuff, right? Yeah, sure. Take a look at it:

As you pass your pointer over the publicity images, you can see the first link you’re getting directed to. Some web links as “kqzyfj.com”, are web services for you to make money out of your followers, the views you get daily and/or the amount of people clicking on the links. Here is an article explaining how it works. And it’s not just the publicity. Here you can find some other ways to do it. The trick for her, is she’s acting like another fan on tumblr. The truth is, she’s here for the business.
I’m not saying making money out of your blog or page is wrong. I make 7 dollars by every publicity tweet I post on my Twitter account, and I only have 5400 followers there. Now, considering she’s got different link sources, publicity and also considering the amount of daily views she have, she must be getting a considerable amount of money. What is wrong for me, is the fact that she’s getting the credit and the money because of the hard work of some seriously talented people. People who deserve recognition and isn’t getting it. So, basically, she’s exploding them.
How is she doing it? She’s smart. She convinces people by making them feel special. She make people think they belong to something. The truth is, they’re making her get her pockets full, while all she have to do is demanding her little workers to make more graphics, nicely answering her asks so she gets the credit and posting news taken from other fan sites. Tough she credit them, she’s always putting her url as a source.
I’m putting the cards on the table, because of her attitude. Because a large amount of people have come to me complaining about her stealing their ideas and styles. Which actually wouldn’t be her fault, because she’s not making any of the art work. She did some original ideas, as “hair tutorials”. Again, giving no credit of it at all. I can’t take it when people take advantage of people, only because they’re excited. She did the same with the Twilight fandom. As you can see in her blog, she’s got publicity as well. Which make it pretty obvious. So, she’s making twice the money.
I think is ok to make money if it help you somehow, as long as you make the content of your blog and put your effort on it. If she’s getting paid, and you’re working for her, you should get paid as well.
Personally, I’m on tumblr because I am a fan of the books. I’m not looking for money, nor publicity. If so, I’m looking for friends and fun and some kind of relieve of my real life. It makes me sick to find people taking advantage of people that, as me, are so excited and is spending their time on showing it. We’re here because we love the same thing. Because we find each other in here. Because if we ever get that feeling of belonging, is in here. I won’t let anyone take that from me. She’s the capitol. She’s what I’m against. And I don’t want to see my friends being fooled. I declined her invitation since the beginning. She told me she had 1200 followers then. And her plans all along were about getting paid. I’m shocked of the way she grown her blog in so little time. It just let me know how easily is to trick people. Is time to open our eyes, guys. That’s not the reason to be here. We’re here to share ideas and feelings. To be friends and have fun. That’s how it should be. I hope you understand it. I’m not trying to win anything here. Except of course the freedom to express my feelings. I just can’t believe people is afraid of her. And I had enough.
She’s getting paid? Fine. She’s getting paid at the expenses of talented people who isn’t getting even the credit? Not fine. Simple as that.
I already write to Lionsgate to ask if it’s even legal to offer possibilities of work for them, so you’ll work for her. I still have the message she send me saying exactly that. And if she do work for Lionsgate, I don’t understand why isn’t she running Capitol Couture.
I’m sorry but I do not agree, I do not condone. All of this is wrong.

I love THG cast because they’re fans. Like, some of us make graphics because it’s our talent. Some of us write fanfiction, some of us make songs. Well, they act. Look at Isabelle and Jackie. They’re just like us.

I was worried because I love every single one of you so much, and I was thinking, what if after the movie I lose this fandom, like I lost the Pottermore one after we find out what it actually was? Then I remembered we’ll have the Quarter Quell tributes cast soon enough and we’ll be fangirling all over again the whole year. Yay.
